Low tides and warm temperatures are causing an unpleasant odor that can be mistaken for sewage. This is the result of seaweed and algae breaking down and releasing gasses. It is an annual occurrence and smells can linger for 2-3 weeks. Water quality is tested regularly throughout the summer.

Eligible voters will be able to cast a vote for a 4-year office term (2026-2030) for:
•     MAYOR (1 to be elected)
•     COUNCILLOR (6 to be elected)
•     SCHOOL TRUSTEE (1 to be elected) for School District No. 63
